I sing tenor with Maple Reserve, which is the barbershop equivalent to classical counter-tenor in terms of range, and is a harmony part (so I don’t sing the melody line); but every now and then, we learn a chart that puts yours truly on the melody, and it’s in those moments that I can really let loose!

Performing in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe was one of the highlights of my performance career, and possibly my life! We performed every night for most of a week, putting on a show for international audiences. We still sometimes perform some of that material to this day!

 

Competing in contests with the guys in Maple Reserve is an amazing experience, but I’m always looking to top each experience, and we did it when we dropped our first album! You can listen to it and buy it now! Much of this material is what we performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
